The Number Theory Days (NTD) is a conference organized jointly by the number theory groups of EPFL and ETHZ and which was initiated by Eva Bayer (EPFL) and Gisbert Wuestholz (ETHZ) in 2004. The first edition took place in Zuerich in 2004 and was organized by Eva Bayer and Richard Pink. Since then the NTDs alternated between Lausanne and Zürich.
As of 2017, the number theory group at University of Basel has joined the NTDs.
The Number Theory Days take place each year in Lausanne, Basel and Zuerich; the NTDs are constituted of 4 to 6 one hour lectures on various aspects of number theory. We usually start on a friday afternoon and conclude the following saturday.
